भारत सरकार द्वारा आधार कार्ड धारको को अपने आधार में मुफ्त में दस्तावेज (Aadhaar Card Free Update) ऑनलाइन अपडेट करने की अनुमति दे रही है | पहले यह मुक्त  सेवा 14  दिसंबर 2023 तक था इसे बढ़ाकर अब 14 मार्च 2024 तक फ्री में आप अपने आधार में डॉक्यूमेंट को अपडेट कर सकते हैं| इसके बाद आपको 5o रुपये देकर अपडेट कराना पड़ेगा |

भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई), जो आधार से संबंधित मामलों और विकास की देखरेख करता है, का कहना है कि इस कदम से लाखों निवासियों को “फायदा” होगा।आधार कार्ड की शुरुआत 2009 में किया गया था तब से आधार कार्ड एक महत्वपूर्ण दस्तवेज बन गया है |भारत सरकार का कहना है कि केंद्र और राज्य दोनों सरकारों द्वारा संचालित लगभग 1,200 सरकारी योजनाएं और कार्यक्रम सेवाओं की डिलीवरी के लिए आधार-आधारित पहचान का उपयोग कर रहे हैं।

• Step -1  सबसे पहले आधार की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जाना होगा जिसका डायरेक्ट लिंक नीचे दिया गया है
• Step-2 इसके बाद Login वाले ऑप्शन पर क्लिक करना होगा|
• Step-3 इसके बाद आधार नंबर और कैप्चा कोड भरकर Get OTP वाले ऑप्शन पर क्लिक करना होगा|
• Step-4 अब आपको ओटीपी भर के Sign IN करना होगा|
• Step-5 इसके बाद आधार अपडेट फ्री वाले ऑप्शन पर क्लिक करना होगा|
• Step-6 अब आपको अपना एड्रेस भरना है इसके बाद डॉक्यूमेंट को अपलोड करना होगा|
• Step-7 डॉक्यूमेंट अपलोड करने के बाद फाइनल सबमिट कर देना होगा
